Guaranteed Results
- 3rd Grade Reading Level Guarantee: Your child will read on a 3rd grade level by the end of 3rd grade, or we will provide remediation until they do so.
- Algebra I Guarantee: Your child will successfully complete Algebra I in 8th grade, or we will provide remediation until they pass.
What are the eligible requirements for the 3rd Grade Reading Level Guarantee?
Students must be continuous enrolled at GEO Focus Academy in grades K–3 and remain enrolled during remediation period. The Learning Coach must provide support to student as described in the enrollment application.
In addition, the student must meet the requirements as outlined in the Parent Student Handbook, and the student and parent must sign and submit the Parent Student Handbook agreement page to the office annually.
English learners and students enrolled in Special Education will receive remediation, as needed, as part of their student service plan goals to satisfy this guarantee. Parents who choose to receive services via the district of residence must provide GEO Focus Academy with a copy of the student’s service plan.

Students enrolled in Special Education must adhere to the individualized goals specified in the student’s Individual Education Plan.
